Anyway, welcome to The Scottish Football Blog. I’m not going to tell you what it’s about.
The Scottish Football Blog is written by me, Tom Hall, a content writer/editor based in Edinburgh. I support Hibs but write about all of Scottish football with particular emphasis on the SPL. And other things as they come to mind.
I don’t currently work in football (but if you’d like to pay me to do anything then just give me a shout) but in the past I’ve run the website for the Homeless World Cup and, a bit of trumpet blowing on my own behalf, I was once a runner up in The Scotsman/Tennent’s Young Sports Writer Of The Year Awards.
Amazingly, or so it seems to me, I wrote the first post here back in November 2006 although you’ll probably have noticed that it’s only in the last year or so that I’ve become a bit more dedicated to the task.
Finally three facts about me: I was “lucky” mascot at Easter Road when St Mirren beat Hibs 4-0, I once played “lapdancing club punter” in an episode of a very short lived Scottish sitcom and I have a massive phobia about eyes.
